Mushira Ghoghawala, APRN, FNP-BC is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, who provides family-focused health care services to patients of all ages and is especially dedicated to providing healthcare to women.
As a primary care provider, Mushira completes wellness exams, treats sick visits, school/sports physicals, provides women’s health-related services, and manages chronic medical problems.
Mushira began her career in healthcare after completing her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Northern Illinois University (DeKalb, IL). She then earned her Master of Science Degree in Nursing from Lewis University (Romeoville, IL), graduating with high honors. She also has a Master of Business Degree in Healthcare Administration from Florida Institute of Technology (Melbourne, FL).
Mushira is a Veteran, having served in the U.S. Army as a registered nurse.
Her thirteen year career in healthcare has provided Mushira the privilege to practice in an array of settings to include inpatient, outpatient, pain management, long-term care, health care insurance, and mental health. These opportunities have allowed Mushira to understand the multitude of barriers that people face when navigating through the healthcare system.
As such, Mushira believes in the social responsibility that health care providers have towards those in the community that are less fortunate, and she strives to bridge these healthcare gaps.
With the understanding that every person is unique, she works towards individualizing treatment plans which emphasize the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit.
